Why I built Currantly

Companies get acquired, domains redirect, contacts move on. Currantly watches your list for decay so list hygiene stops being a manual audit.

By Adam Clarke

CRM data has a shelf life, and almost nobody plans for it. The list you imported last year looked clean when it went in. Since then companies have been acquired, domains have started redirecting somewhere else, sites have quietly died, and people have moved on.

Six months later a meaningful chunk of your database is dead weight. You are still paying to store it, still emailing it, and still counting it in forecasts. Worse, the bounces coming off it are damaging deliverability for the contacts who are genuinely live.

Nobody has time for a manual audit

The standard fix is a periodic clean-up, which in practice means someone spending two days with a spreadsheet, usually only after something has gone visibly wrong. It never gets done often enough, because there is always something more urgent.

Currantly makes it continuous instead. It monitors the B2B list you already own and reports what changed: dead sites, redirects and where they now point, acquisitions, Companies House status changes, and mail health on the domain. Then it tells you in plain English, so you can action it rather than interpret it.

Validation, not list building

One deliberate boundary. Currantly does not build you a list and it is not designed for cold outreach. It validates data you already have. That keeps it useful for RevOps teams and agencies who need to trust their numbers, without turning into another source of unsolicited email.

The honest version of the pitch is unglamorous: this is maintenance. But maintenance is what keeps your reporting believable and your reps working live accounts, and that is worth automating.
